Research Interests

My research sits at the intersection of climate science and decision-making — understanding how a changing climate reshapes water availability, infrastructure risk and adaptation choices, and making that evidence usable for the people who plan, finance and operate systems on the ground.

Current

Climate information and decision-making

My current research at the University of Cape Town examines how climate information is translated and applied in transboundary water-resource planning, infrastructure development and operations, adaptation and investment decisions across Southern Africa. Through WISER Africa CLICK, I map decision systems and information flows, identify the barriers between climate evidence and action, and co-develop a bounded intervention designed to produce observable change in a real decision pathway.
