Biography

I am a climate risk, water resources and resilience specialist working at the intersection of science, infrastructure, finance and policy.

My work translates complex climate and water risk into practical decisions about infrastructure, adaptation, investment and water security. I support governments, development partners, infrastructure and utility organisations, research institutions and private-sector clients navigate physical climate risk and long-term environmental uncertainty.

I lead and contribute to climate, water and resilience research and advisory programmes across Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the United States. My work has supported programmes involving the World Bank, Global Center on Adaptation, World Meteorological Organization, UK Met Office, United Nations Development Programme, GIZ, RSK, Southern African Power Pool, PepsiCo, Engen, and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.

My background combines scientific research, business training and professional scientific practice. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cape Town, where my research focuses on how climate information informs decisions on water, infrastructure and investment decisions. I also contribute to the scientific community as an international journal reviewer.
